TAD AND HIS SISTER WERE VERY CAREFUL TO WALK ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STREET WHEN THEY PASSED BY. THEY DIDN’T WANT TO GET TOO CLOSE,
AND BE SPOOKED TO DEATH.
HURRY!
WHEW!
THEY ALWAYS FELT A SIGH OF RELIEF TO HAVE THAT SCARY PLACE BEHIND THEM FOR ANOTHER DAY,
ESPECIALLY DURING THE WINTER WHEN IT WAS DARK, AND THE WIND
MADE EERIE NOISES.
THAT WAS ABIG
RELIEF!
WHEN THEY CAME NEAR
THE HOUSE
THEIR STEPS WOULD GET LONGER AND THEIR LEGS WOULD MOVE FASTER.
